WWF Red Panda Adoption Kit

Hey guys!

A couple of weeks ago, I entered a weekly giveaway in WWF (World Wildlife Fund) Canada's Facebook page. They were giving out their adoption kits of several animals such as a giant panda and a giraffe and I was one of the lucky winners to adopt a red panda!

I received my adoption two days ago, but I had to walk a couple of miles in Canada's freezing weather to get it from the post office. Each adoption kit comes with a cute plush of the animal you symbolically adopted, a gift bag, a pamphlet/poster, and a personalized certificate. It has a value of 40$ and I treated as a late Christmas gift for myself!

My personalized certificate!
WWF is an organization that brings awareness to our world's environmental problems. Many species are unfortunately on the path of being classified as ''extinct'' such as the red panda. By purchasing an adoption kit of a red panda or any other animal, you are supporting the organization in their efforts to conserve species.

Here is a sad fact about the red panda: The red panda has been classified as vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature because its population is estimated to be fewer than 10,000 mature individuals. (taken from WWF's Facebook page)

Isn't the plush really cute? It is about 6 inches tall and 9 inches long. Although it is small, the quality is amazing and it is very soft! I love how it has precise details such as the color of his tail and his face. I can imagine myself cuddling this plush and I will sure do so!

If you want to buy an adoption kit, you can browse WWF's online store and see which animal you want to adopt! You can also like WWF's Facebook page as they constantly put interesting facts about our world's problems and the possible solutions to solve them.

Question of the day: if you can adopt an animal, which one will it be?

Take care guys! xox

  1. I love the red panda plushie! :D Those adoption kits are a great way of helping endangered animals, aren't they?

Hm, I love pretty much ALL animals, so I would adopt pretty much each and every one of them if I could!

Btw, I love your blog! Good luck with your further writing!

  2. They are indeed a great way to support this cause and it is really hard to choose a single animal to adopt!

Awe, thank you very much for your kind words! :)
